We introduce a shift into the structure of the ordinary, creating additional volume for distancing — a space between a person and their environment.

The shift manifests in the line of the shoulder, in the trajectory of the seam, in the way fabric forms a frame. It regulates distance, allowing one to remain within the form without being entirely determined by it. The silhouette ceases to replicate anatomy and begins to exist alongside it as an independent structure.
